ESPN West Recruiting Blog on Whiteside's visit to CU.
He's visiting Arizona this week for the UCLA game and, along with the Cal and CU trips, that will be all of his official visits.
A couple excerpts:
"I had a great trip to Colorado, I really loved it there," Whiteside said. "That's one of the most beautiful campuses I've ever seen and the overall atmosphere the whole weekend was great. The game environment was a lot of fun and I love how passionate the fans are. I could tell all the guys on the team were there for one reason and that's to win football games."
"It's still pretty solid, I like Cal a lot," Whiteside said. "I just want to make sure I'm making the right decision and that's why I wanted to take some of these trips. This is a huge decision and I want to make sure I'm picking Cal for all the right reasons."

Went to ASU this weekend where they gave USC a run for their money. Sounds like Cal or ASU at this point. We're definitely playing catch up on this guy.
Tedford kicked him off the team for an unspecified violation of team rules.
One of the top recruits Cal has signed the past few years (and a guy I was really hoping would be a Buff).
Kind of funny to go back and read some of our comments from 2009. The HaLk-hate we mods had by October of that year was well hidden in the recruiting forum.

Such a shame. I'm willing to bet he winds up at SC or Washington.![]()
