Darryl Ballard (former CSU wide receiver) coached at Colony HS until this spring when he became a grad assistant at CSU. You'd think they'd be all over him... There are several D1 players at Colony this year...
Under-the-radar prospect right now. CU is his first (so far only) offer. Coming for a visit this Fall. Dad was a Husker, but he's supportive of a potential CU commitment. Looking really good for us on this one.
The positive reports keep on coming in on this kid. I feel good about getting a verbal from Jared.

Anyway, Bell is coming for the Texas A&M game. He's going to go to CSU some time in October. I still think we're in the lead on this one.
Gimmie Mr. Barlow any day...with a good line he could be dominant. The 49ers had a terrible line last year, but it should be better this year. Hes big AND fast whereas Bell is just fast. His smallness will also make him injury prone...Buuuuuut what do I know???

Thats what I thought. I was just wondering what Rab was talking about.
He reminds me a bit of Jimmy Smith in this video. Same body type (long, lean), very good speed, and very nice ball skills/ body control.
