We need aggressiveness on both sides of the ball!
As far as a new HC coach.
I think we need to go with an O.C. who knows how to call an offense. Preferably to go younger. Also, let them bring in a DC, etc.
Keep an open mind when I suggest Jeremy Bates, who especially after last night, would be our best chance of recruiting a top flight QB and WR's. Let go from the Broncos where he called the plays for the #1 offense in the NFL, and now the OC at USC. I think he may be cheaper than some of the other options.
Who knows, perhaps he pulls a play out of Lane Kiffin's playbook, and Jeremy would recruit his father to be the Defensive Coordinator.

All this talk about new coaches, who is the new coach, we should go after this guy is making my head hurt....I just want a ****ing win, I dont care right now if Pee Wee is coaching, I just want to see a win, I want this team to show some heart, and be proud to be wearing the Black and Gold.....GO BUFFS!!!
You, here's an idea (not mine) I thought was pretty good: DH might be able to buy himself a year if he somehow Bohn got EB to come to CU w/ the deal that he would take over as HC when DH is done w/ CU. EB can start recruiting and developing a more aggressive power running team (not the crap we have now) and he can start being groomed for the HC over time.
Thought?
Oh and fire Collins, and most likely Brandison.
I still want Hawk to turn this around, but Jeremy Bates wouldn't bother me at all. If were going to run the west coast (and we already are, basically) then we might as well have a top flight x's and o's guy to run it. I don't know if he's been at USC long enough to get a college rep, but its not a bad thought.
I think that Kubiak may be available very soon. If so he has connections to Colorado (don't like where his kids are but that can be overcome) and I think he would be a very good college coach and recruiter.
I also like the Bates idea.
