So if you can't find a way to say something genuinely positive, either don't post or come up with something so over-the-top unicorns and rainbows that everyone at least gets a good laugh.
To start:
Why the Buffs will go 8-0 in the Big 12
Texas: They barely handled Wyoming. We whipped 'em. If this game was at Folsom I'd predict an easy win for the Buffs, but it's in Austin so the Longhorns will probably keep it close. Especially with Texas making the mistake of looking ahead to Oklahoma.
Kansas: They've played no one and looked bad doing it. Iowa State has given them everything they can handle in Lawrence today and we get the Jayhawks at Folsom. Plus, Mangino is so fat that it's always an open question whether he'll be able to squeeze his ass into an airline seat and make it to the game.
Kansas State: 3 victories this year: 2 1-AA teams and Iowa State in Manhattan (and 2 of the games were close). 'Nuff said.
Missouri: They've beaten no one and even Nebraska's offense looked good against them at the end of their game. The Tigers have lost way too much and it shows. Defense is average and so is the offense. With the loss to the Corn this week and games to follow on the road at OSU and then Texas in Columbia, Mizzou will be limping into Folsom with a 3-game losing streak and their confidence shot. A complete flip of the 0-58 game last season should be expected.
Texas A&M: Now that they're playing real teams, they're getting exposed. Arkansas whipped them last week and it wasn't even as close as the final score. We gave the game away last year in College Station despite our injury problems, but we get them at Folsom this year with payback on our minds. Watch out Von Miller, we coming for you. Icing on the cake is they've got Oklahoma the week after us and will be looking ahead.
Iowa State: They're Iowa State.
Oklahoma State: It's on the road, which is tough, but OSU isn't the team everyone thought they'd be before the year started. Discipline problems, NCAA violations, injuries and police blotter issues have started to derail this season. A win over Georgia was supposed to be their impressive win, but Georgia sucks (got killed by Tennessee) and it took Dez Bryant taking over the game late for the Cowboys to win it at home (Dez is not suspended for the season). This has been followed by a loss to Houston, a team that couldn't even beat UTEP. Finally... once again our luck holds with getting a team the week before they face Oklahoma, catch them looking ahead, and get a victory. In this case, a rather easy victory.
Nebraska: It's at Folsom. We had them last year if not for a record-breaking field goal made easier by an incorrect ball spot by the refs. This year we'll be healthy and riding momentum into the game. The team will draw extra inspiration from the Basketball team winning the Maui Invitational earlier in the week. Most Nebraska fans will be happy if they can keep the game as close as 62-36, but they won't. In short: The Corn sucks and we will crush them.
Colorado rolls into the Big 12 Championship game at 9-3 (8-0) and riding an 8 game win streak, setting up a Big 12 Title, BCS bowl win, and top ten finish to the 2009 season.

For half that game, Wyoming handled the Longhorns. For whatever reason, they just ran out of gas. They had nothing against CU, though.
