In the past there has been a fly over at this game, does anyone know if there will be one tomorrow?
If so, who pays and how much do those things cost? It might not be the most popular move with the fan base clamoring for a buyout.
You do realize that they are going to go and fly those planes around anyway right? May as well do something that people get to actually see instead of flying around between Buckley and Lamar all day long.

My cousin was an F16 driver in Florida and used to do these. They usually combine them another mission like practice bombing runs at the range in Avon Fl then over to do their fly over then home. On Veterans they will probably do flyovers at numerous cemeteries that have a veterans plot. There is a pretty big one in Fort Morgan I believe as well as Denver and GJ. You have to keep your hours up to keep your skills sharp.
If people have a problem with a flyover on vets day they are assholes.
End of transmission.
the "experts" can go eat a bushel basket of Bob Stoops fresh organic dicks
Everybody hates you, Everybody wishes that you were dead
Cuz Peter you suck, Peter you suck

See a psychiatrist
I'm not going
Wish I could have my dad there, that would be cool, he's a vet.
all time low, talking about how a flyover is to expensive.i agree though this team maybe deserves a hanglider or two
This team deserves respect, whether you dislike the coaching staff or not.
Fly-overs cost nothing to the university. It's a simple request. I tried to do the Wyoming game but couldn't because of my schedule.
They are a no cost item to the university, other than the time involved in actually placing the request, and they are also, for today specifically, not to honor the team. Not even for the service academy teams. They are there to honor Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines, which, with the exception of a very few prior service members, none of the cadets at any of the academies are, yet.
Not a slight against any of the cadets, just a simple fact that, until they take their oath of office, they are not actual service members.
I run a small little league in Western Colorado and had a blackhawk helicopter land on our opening ceremonies. We called our local army reserve station and I couldn't believe how ecstatic they were to do it. I figured I would get a big fat NO. It might have been one of the greatest things I have ever witnessed! They landed on our fields right after the national anthem then the kids had a chance to talk to the military personal.
Every time I see a military plane or helicopter fly over I get the same goosebumps as an opening kick off for CU. Not that I didn't before.
Point of the story is whatever it costs we should be doing a flyover for every game to honor our military personal!
Thanks for all the info above, I learned quite a bit. Also, thank you to all that served and are serving our country.
Too bad I missed the flyover today because of the stupid wreck on 36.
