can you be recruited as a walk-on?










Awesome news....this guys was fun to watch, especially because him & Ameen Moore complemented each other very well at Mullen...he has the talent to make it & fight for some PT here, so a good addition to our depleted RB squad
My question was more of how do they define it. All invited or preferred walkons are recruited and I was one of them once upon a time a million years ago. My own kid was also one just a few years ago. I do not believe the rules are different. Recruiting rules are the rules.
As someone previously pointed out, the plumber/RB from Nebraska who had tried to walk-on at NU and Callahan wouldn't consider him went to class that whole year and still had to sit 1 year at CU due to transfer. Never played for NU or appeared on a roster.
I knew about this a couple of weeks ago, BTW.
