I think this kid was just a freshman at East in fall 2008 season. (Look at the description on the youtube clip.)
That would make him a soph last season, a junior fall of 2010, senior in fall 2011.
He won't graduate until class of 2012.
If he impressed in the Rivals 100 as a sophomore, that's pretty good for a kid out of Denver East.
I can't say for sure what year he is, but going off my shaky memory and the youtube clip, I'd say he's a 2012 player.
Coach Narcy is a coach at East, you'd hope he'd have the year right, but he's got a lot of kids between freshman, jv and varsity teams to keep track of, so I don't know.
It's possible Rivals is right and he's wrong. Or vice versa. Rivals has him as a 2011...
After all that wishy-washy thinking, yeah, I'd go with 2012. It makes more sense that Rivals would assume he was older and lump him in a higher year if he was a standout at the camp, while the HS coach would find a standout freshman memorable and get the year right.
OK. I'm moving it.
Maxpreps has him on the roster in fall 2008 as a freshman.
(East didn't post a roster in the most recent season.)
I found an image,
but can't get it to post:

Thanks, Alferd. I couldn't get that image to post either. I'll go ahead and download it so we have something... until we get a better one.
Another highlight film:
Alferd - how did Hendrix do for East this year?
There's a nice Denver Post story about Hendrix, his brother, and their adopted mother. It was nice to see a positive story with all the losses, suspensions, and injuries that have plagued our Buffs.
