Barr had a pretty good junior year.
2009: Recorded 87 tackles, 32 for loss, 12 sacks, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and three pass breakups.
And here's why this offer is so interesting:
CU's new Offensive Technical Intern, Anthony Tucker, was an assistant coach at Lakewood since 2006. Start praying to the football gods, sacrifice a goat, and frolic naked in the moonlight because we've got a real shot here and need all the Karma we can get.
Barr would be an awesome pickup for the Buffs. Check out the video below. He comes off the ball like he was shot out of a cannon. I absolutely love this prospect.
If he chooses colorado we need to send him a lot of cheeseburgers and pizzas from Beau Jos.
Barr continues to rack up the offers. Very impressive list. We can only hope that moving to the PAC is helping us here.
Has taken visits to Florida and Oregon, and will be visiting Cal this weekend. Cal has been his favorite for a while, but he seems intent on taking all five visits. Perhaps the new coaching staff can work some magic here.
Can Tui deliver this kid for CU?
That dude is a beast. He and Moala can start from day 1 for us. Just sick skills really. Looks like a John Randle type at DT. Plays so low, with great leverage, strength and his quickness is just amazing.

Cal Bear.
Not much of a surprise. Cal is expected to make a big push late in this recruiting cycle and end up with a highly rated class (so is Oregon, fwiw).
This might help CU's chances with Moala, though, since he had been a Cal lean and Cal now has 2 DT commits in this class so they could be done with the position.
He probably projects to be a 3-gap DE for them (3-4 defense), which seems to fit his profile.
I hope that losing this battle wins us the "war" for Moala.
But I would think Moala is natural NT and therefore Barr's commitment doesn't interfere with his potential playing time. Jalil could be DE or NT so hard to guess there.
I expect nothing but positive results in DL recruiting from this staff. No excuses.
