we are going to have to get some construction pics of this throughout the next year and post them in this thread. The good thing about CU's groundbreaking is they start construction immediately, not like other place where they snap pics and fence off a lot for 3 years.
That facility looks pretty sweet.
CU Football
#22 Most Prestigious Program in College Football History (ESPN)
1990 National Championship & 26 Conference Championships
1 Heisman Trophy Winner & 8 Other National Award Winners
5 Player & 7 Scholar-Athlete Inductions in College Football Hall of Fame
70 First Team All-Americans (30 Consensus All-Americans)
#19 in All-Time Wins, #24 in All-Time Win Percentage & #23 in Times Ranked
#29 in Wins and #12 in Wins Against Ranked Opponents Since 1989

This is going to be a huge lift for the three programs in this regard.
Even better, that means the CU AD can start seriously planning for what needs or should be done with Folsom Field.

Visually, the proposed look is more appealing than UT's facility which looks like a yuppie McMansion (though considering the city that one's in, makes some sense). I've been inside Cooley Pavilion when they had men's and women's practice running at the same time. That was a very impressive look so I'm anxious for this bad boy to get finished. Hopefully things stay on schedule and two seasons from now we have three postseason caliber programs calling this place home.

I donated a small amount of money for this and I sure hope it is actually completed and helps our teams.
Please post pictures if possible of the progress as I no longer live in Colorado to go see it.

Drove by the other day, and dirt has started moving, looks like things are moving along. The only thing is the new Center for Community dwarfs the CEC. And people complain by the couple million they spent on the practice facility, I think this was some of the best money spent so far.
Stopped by the site today. No worries, it's going strong now that the high school stuff is done. Pretty excited.
