Cal vs Colorado - CU has a Website up

Rather floored by this but CU got off their ass and pulled a Website as well as some hotel deals together for the Bears/Buffs game. The site is linked below with crazy things like a schedule of events and ways to buy tickets:

Great job by CU on that one.

How amazing would that be if we won a roadie at Cal to get things jumpstarted next season?

If you want to beat CAl you are better off catching them late in the season.

I'm beginning to think this may be a difficult ticket to score.

Intersting that CU is bending over backwards to get fans to attend this away game...a game against a team that is in a conference we may transfer to... Coincidence? I don't think so.

something along those lines. may be a bit of a whistle test....a tryout type deal that the AD is getting behind with some effort. Buff fans represent, can't hurt our case with the Pac brass.

I thought the conventional wisdom was that if a Pac 10 move is made it would happen this summer, well before the Cal game takes place. Maybe advance sales and interest will tell them all they need to know.

I am more of the opinion that this is just CU being late to teh game, these things are very easy to set up and should be done for all roadies.

damn they picked some pretty mediocre hotels. Guess it reflects the attitude of the AD in general.

    Huh?

The Palace is a San Francisco Landmark and I'm sure the Westin is nice.

There's a nice Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay that you could stay at. Beautiful hotel, great golf course.

CU has done this kind of thing before - set up hotel deals, had Friday night activities, etc. I remember it for Phoenix & for Athens (2 games I attended) but I'm fairly certain they had stuff going on at WVU & FSU a few years back. I think they only do it for top tier road trips though - some of the college towns probably have a tough time reserving blocks of rooms for away teams.
