I've heard he may be much ado about nothing. But personally I think we need to get him. He's the kind of guy we want. He has power. If you've seen his videos, it's like a soldier's story. He's got courage under fire, and he comes after opponents like an american gangster. I really think he could have a great career at CU, then go on to glory someplace like Philadelphia. I just hope we can keep him for four years and he doesn't cry freedom and leave early.

He's also a great kid off the field. A great debater and approaches virtuosity musically. Also a great character guy. We're not going to end up reading about him fooling around with the preacher's wife or getting accused of anything by some devil in a blue dress. We need to get him in and get him committed early. Don't want to run out of time.

Similar size/speed as Jarrod Darden. Definitely a guy to keep an eye on.

Here's some info from the new Rivals article:

Washington said he is on Texas A&M's recruiting radar. His best friend and former high school teammate Mister Jones signed with the Aggies in February.

Colorado is another college of interest.

"Last year CU gave me tickets to sit in the recruit section and I went to all of their home games," Washington said. "It was awesome to be in the locker room before and after the games."
