Demps reminds me a lot of Andre Miller, who was an All-American for Utah and led them to the NCAA finals before having a solid NBA career (let's hope he's anywhere near the college player that Miller was). Good sized scoring PG (6'2") who is extremely smooth, has great body control, creates angles, and has a very soft touch. Demps also seems to have that pull up 3-pointer off the break in his offensive game, which can be a great weapon. He's more active than Miller on the defensive end and really likes to play the passing lanes to create turnovers. Needs to grow into his frame a bit, but that's to be expected from a 17 year old.
Demps visited CU this past weekend and is an early 2011 target for the Buffs.
In a bit of a surprise, Demps gave a verbal to Northwestern. It had sounded like it was going to be CU or ASU. Hmmm.
