    Offense: Scotty McKnight

    Defense: Jimmy Smith

    Why?: Because they're good.

To me, he's by far the gem of the 2007 class.
he asked for the move to safety.

    i'm gonna go with...speedy.

Tie between Herrod and McKnight. Herrod because he made it through alot and played pretty damn well last year. McKnight because he is Mr. Consistent. We dont see alot of consistency around here lately, unless it's consistently ****ty we are talking about.

No, he didn't. He was moved there. The reports that he asked for the move are false. You can thank Bagdhad Dave for that little gem of misinformation. I heard this directly from one of the coaches.

McKnight because of all the reasons mentioned and he's funny. Heard him on some interviews at Big XII media days and he had all the radio guys in Austin cracking up.

well thats news to me. don't doubt it for a second. who knows though, while we are thin at rb, we would be extremely thin at db without him.

We would be hurting a LOT more at DB right now if that move was not made. Just sayin'.

    My vote is for McKnight.

McKnight is sort of the anti-Westbrook, anti-Pritchard. I would prefer to have the athletic Westbrook. Remember the Pritchard reverse? Favorite players: any of the transfers from a good football school USC or Michigan, i.e. Toney Clemons. Recruiting re-treads. Toledo has better receivers? We *really* need a deep threat, I am sick of this offense. It ain't supposed to be intramurals, but McKnight is tough and a true Buff-a-lo, so go get 'em dude. Least favorite: the other slow ***** receivers we recruited not named - McKnight.

Cody Hawkins -- despite not be a Division l player, and despite being raised on juice boxes, and despite being forced to focus on little things, he'll leave CU with a bunch of passing records. Tough kid, lots of class.

I'm not going to pick a favorite, but I'll repeat myself on this subject. Both Cody and Tyler have been placed in difficult situations. Both have handled themselves with class and kept the controversy private. Comments in the media have been measured, but never anti-CU or anti- each other. Two kids acting maturely in a tough spot they didn't create.

I agree, AJ, both Cody and Tyler have handled the situation about as well as it could have been handled. Tyler's exemplary behavior suggests to me that he respects the Hawks, Younger and Elder.

I have nothing but respect for Cody. Playing on a crap team, and having limited physical gifts, he did a pretty damn good job.

First time poster long time reader, There are a lot of good kids to like but i have to go with Justin Castor.....Great Kid and family always dreamed of being a Buff. He was Kicking 45 yard FG's for me when he was in 8th grade. I can't wait to see him do well for the Buffs.
