Cal's got the inside track on this one. His dad, Brian, played WR for them in the 1990s and Bryce grew up a Cal fan. Wouldn't hurt our cause at all if we came home from Berkeley with a win this year.
Sophomore year highlights:

Now has an offer from CU. Also picked up offers from Notre Dame, Arizona, Georgia Tech, Boise St, Utah, and Washington. Scout now ranks him as a 4* player and the #13 WR. 247 Sports has him as a 4* player #30 WR and #230 overall.
I'd forgotten about Treggs since we had been looking at him during the Hawkins era. I remember liking him, though. Need to re-watch the film and see if I can find some junior highlights.
Edit: Found the highlights. Even some 7 on 7.
great hands! is he bigger? From the junior film he looked was taller than 5'10" and heavier than 157.
Don't get your hopes up. Would be very surprised if he does not follow in his father's footsteps at Cal.
Surprisingly good news to report on this one.
In a new update from Rivals, Treggs had some nice things to say about CU:
Read more..."I like Colorado's offense," Treggs said. "This past year I think they used Paul Richardson pretty well as an incoming freshman. If I would go there, I think In could get some early playing time and some early catches."
Hopefully nobody tells him we have a new coaching staff and a new offense this year, but yeah! He would probably get some early playing time, though. We need us some playmakers at WR.
Very surprising news. If nothing else, I hope we can get him in for an official visit. Other prospects take notice when someone like Treggs sets up a visit.
Came in at #4 for calihigh's top 15 for 2012. I think the most we can hope for here is an OV, but hopefully I'm wrong.

As expected, he chose Cal.
This is one time I do kind of feel like we had sort of a moral victory just by getting into the conversation. Considering who all was after him and that he was a Cal lock from the start, it was encouraging to see the staff make an impression here.
Scout is reporting this as a soft verbal.. still taking visits (just visited asu). Not sure if we are in the mix at all tho

I wouldn't lose any sleep over Treggs. He's a Cal legacy. He might just be enjoying his recruiting experience... as he should.
GO BEARS!
Visited UCLA this weekend.
I like four teams....deal with it
1. CU 3-10
2. Alabama 11-1
3. Michigan 11-2
4. ISU 6-7
