Valor is looking more and more like it could turn into an important pipeline for CU.
In general, the quality of high school football is definitely trending up imo.

CU is definitely recruiting Kozan, who looks to be making a case for himself to be mentioned with Thurston and Callahan when we discuss who the best in-state OL prospect is this cycle. He had a big performance at the US Army National Combine, winning 5 of his 7 one-on-ones against elite competition.
Here's more from a new Rivals article:
"I really like CU. I like what [head] coach [Jon] Embree is doing up there," Kozan said. "I also like the Big Ten schools: Wisconsin and Northwestern. I really hope to hear from Ohio State."
Kozan plans to attend the Rams' Junior Day this Saturday. He is also planning to take an unofficial visit up to Boulder to meet with the Buffs' coaches and tour CU's facilities sometime in February.
"The excitement level has risen at CU and I think the program is about to get back to what it was in the 1990s and the early 2000s," Kozan said. "They have had a couple down years there at CU but they are about to get back. They brought back their roots, all those coaches, which is exciting."
Be a Buff, Alex!

glad he thinks it's only been a "couple of down years"......
Will be interesting to see how the OL recruiting plays out. I am wondering how many we will take; my guess is 5-6, but that is just a guess without looking too hard at the numbers.
Regardless, we should never struggle with OL recruiting. There are quality OL churned out of CO high schools yearly.

Adam just tweeted that Alex visited today and we offered him. He also has offers from ASU and KjSU.
Good to hear. We need to get the majority of our in-state recruits in the fold early. It would not surprise me if Kozan and Baylis commit sooner rather than later.
70-3. 1-11. BTN titles are laughable.
It is a new dawn though sO the kid is right!
Kozan will be attending the CU Spring Game/Junior Day this Saturday.

His recent Iowa offer is the sign of a good prospect IMO. Ferentz is as good as any coach in the country at identifying OL talent.
