Considering hitting that happy hour on friday. Which, to those who know me, is not a surprise at all![]()
Too bad Bohn didn't start the tour a couple of days earlier when the Rockies are still in town.
Moving this to the Football forum.

nice graphic and all, but anyone look at a map recently? i think san diego may just be a bit farther south...
FYI... The Brickyard is in San Francisco and the game is in Berkeley. The Brickyard is also not particularly close to BART, which is the way you would be getting to the game.
I wish there was some place in Berkeley that CU fans could go that didn't want to pay the $40 fee for a piece of hot-dog and a coors lite, but I haven't heard of anything.
When I used to have season tix for Cal games, I'd go to the Bear's Lair which is the on-campus bar. It was totally awesome, but I dunno what the reception would be if you showed up in the oponnents' gear. It'd probably be ok, but you never know. Maybe a bit like walking into the sink wearing Cal gear if the Sink was on campus...
and by that i mean, **** you LA.
Well we are talking about Friday so this may still work out. As for game-day I would feel comfortable going into the Bear's Lair. I have seen tons of opposing fans go into The Sink before games and they might get some words, but not too much hostility. I doubt the Cal fans would be too brutal. We also might be with my friend who throws shotput and discus for Cal, so he can protect us.
Daaah,
I've heard that tailgating at Cal blows hard. Is this true? While I won't be there this year, I will make it out for future Pac 12 games.
