Spangler has committed to Gonzaga.

In the first 2 rounds of the NCAA tourney, Spangler went 12 & 10 against Longwood and 4 & 8 against West Virginia. Not bad for a freshman.
Reports are that he's looking at the various Okie schools; wants to be closer to home.

Guess he was homesick. Gonzaga versus Oklahoma must have been some culture shock. Food, weather, west coast attitudes, etc.
Is Spokane really that big of a difference? Eastern Washington is a dry-ish agricultural region; additionally, I always got the feeling there was a big cultural gap between EW and the coast.
