    little late but very true...

Would he be able to play both football and basketball? Is that even an option for him?

    He's just basketball.

Spangler was granted his release from Gonzaga to "transfer to a school closer his home state of Oklahoma". http://www.spokesman.com/stories/201...aving-gonzaga/

CU was in competition with the Zags to sign him before. Could we be his destination?

In the first 2 rounds of the NCAA tourney, Spangler went 12 & 10 against Longwood and 4 & 8 against West Virginia. Not bad for a freshman.

Reports are that he's looking at the various Okie schools; wants to be closer to home.
We should have listened to Colorado fans.

Guess he was homesick. Gonzaga versus Oklahoma must have been some culture shock. Food, weather, west coast attitudes, etc.

Is Spokane really that big of a difference? Eastern Washington is a dry-ish agricultural region; additionally, I always got the feeling there was a big cultural gap between EW and the coast.

I guess we'll find out what it's like there and if folks out that way don't take kindly to Pac-12 types when the crew hits Pullman for the road trip this season.
