I didn't think the O-line was as bad as some are making it out to be.
Based on the performance of the O-line against CSU, I hate to say this but I'm guessing that TH has a loooooong day v. Cal. TH will be running for his life.

Yeah, I didn't see these major issues either. The run blocking was blowing CSU off of the line, and there were many times Hansen had plenty of time to find a receiver. I heard Alfred Williams saying Miller was playing lights out, and Solder looked solid as usual. I guess we will find out.
There is no place like Nebraska...THANK GOD!!!!
"I went to State" could mean a hundred different places. "I went to Colorado" can only mean one.
Seeing your last prediction made...looks like TH is primed for a record afternoon....![]()
recap his last prediction...

I'm really not sure where this criticism of the O-Line is coming from. They looked pretty solid against the lambs. Granted, CSU sucks, and the O-Line will have a tougher time of it against a more talented and athletic front seven from Cal. I can only remember one bad sack that Tyler took, and it was on a blitz that BLock whiffed on the blitzer. That's not the O-Line's fault.
His last prediction was Orms would have a pick 6 vs CSU
Whether the line is all world or not we will find out against Cal. However, they were light years better than last year against CSU. Our biggest problems in the CSU game came from TH not getting rid of the ball quick enough and running backs (and fullbacks) not blocking their men. I think those items can be corrected with a little more experience.
would it be totally nuts to move Miller to the left side so we have Solder and Miller next to each other?
I agree with you. Frustrating. I guess I just meant that hopefully now that we have one game under our belt our guys will relax a little more and just play (maybe experience was the wrong word). There was a lot of pressure on the team for that game. There will be no pressure in the Cal game because we aren't expected to win.
Just trying to keep it positive.
Speedy did pretty well when held in to block, IIRC. Lockridge looked awful, and nearly got Hansen decapitated.
