Carey has been a verbal to Arizona since June. CU recently popped up as offering per Rivals.
Well that explains why he's going to an Arizona school...

Even then UofA isn't great either, but not nearly as bad as ASU.
**** UA!! Damn the Wildcats! THEY SUCK!!
It's about time for those types of comments, yes?
"Right now Alec Burks is using and abusing this Texas defense"
Not that much difference academically - ASU gets a bad rap cuz they won the party school title a few years ago. It really depends on the program, I think. USN&WR ranks UA 120, ASU 143 (CU 86).

Still planning on taking all 5 visits.

Nominated for the 2011 Army All Star Game.
Named All-State Back for Arizona.
Still no word on which schools he intends to visit. Probably ASU and maybe USC, although he does not appear to hold a USC offer, who knows how Kiffen plays his cards. Rumor of Oregon interest.
Although originally a USC lean, when Pete Carroll left, and when USC was hit with sanctions, Carey reacted by committing to an in-state school. But he's definitely a soft commit to AZ at this point, as he has told multiple media outlets he is taking visits this month. He finished his career with 5,702 rushing yards, the most ever by a Southern Arizona player.
He had 82 career rushing touchdowns and a few more courtesy of kick returns.
If the new CU staff can pull off a visit from Carey with 3 weeks to go, would be quite a coup. No word on that, but always nice to dream.
All I know is both the ASU & UofA campuses are fugly.
