The video and the offer list speak for themselves.

But some of you may remember back a few months ago that I flew off because I was pissed that Hawkins wasn't even recruiting Jarrell.

Jarrell's uncle, O.C., was one of Mac's key early recruits. He made a very key play against Nebraska in 1986 when we finally beat the Fusker.

    That was Jon Embree's team.

nice feature on him, Scout March 2010

In part, comments by his high school coach coach Jim Creech:

... running back Jarrell Oliver. As a junior, Oliver rushed for 1,054 yards and 12 touchdowns. To date, the 5-foot-8, 198-pound Oliver holds offers from Michigan, Utah, Tulsa and Oregon State.

Creech said in his opening comments that what Oliver “does is so natural and distinctive, it is hard to put into words.”

    Creech on Oliver’s Greatest Asset-Vision:
His vision is incredible. His peripheral vision is off the charts. He has this innate ability to make cuts.

"Jarrell has that ability to make people miss and does it so natural."

Creech on Why Oliver is the Prototype Back:
To me, Jarrell is built like a perfect back. He is not very tall so he can hide behind lineman. He is extremely thick, got a thick chest and thick arms. He is built low to the ground and has tremendous lower-body strength.
