Here is the Scout evaluation of Hall:
STRENGTHS: Hands and Concentration; Speed
AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT: Size
An explosive receiver, Hall has the ability to get down field from the outside receiver position, and his ability to elevate makes him a viable target at any point in the field. He's tough enough to go over the middle, quick enough to make a man miss, and strong enough to out jump and outfight a corner for a ball. Lacks ideal size, but still seems to play big - Scott Kennedy, Scout.com.
Wondering if he might be a guy that switches to defense at some point.
Ryan Broyles anyone?
Now visiting according to Rivals!
Tui and Kennedy did an in-home and got it set up. Here's the article link with some quotes on his CU interest: http://rivals.yahoo.com/colorado/foo...in-Hall-118681
I think I read somewhere that Hall intends to wait until NSD to announce his decision. IMO this is a mistake. Three-star, unrated kids don't get to play the pick-the-hat-on-the-table game. If I were a HC, I might be willing to play the lottery on NSD for a 5-star or high 4-star player, because the reward is worth the risk. For a 3-star kid, I'd have to know in advance what he is doing, so I can try to cover the loss with another similar player if he chooses to go elsewhere. If none of Hall's choices is willing to wait until NSD for his decision and fill the WR slot with someone else, he could find himself with nothing.
I was going to contradict that, but I found it mentioned in a December interview...
At the present moment, Hall wants to take all five of his official visits before making his college choice. He will more than likely ride the recruiting train to the finish and make his announcement on signing day February 2.
Committed to Washington, says Scout.com.
