Changed schools from Jefferson Forest in Virginia to Oak Ridge Academy so he could work on his academics. Seems like he got qualified late after programs that had been recruiting him (Miami, North Carolina, Virginia, NC State, East Carolina, South Florida and UCLA) turned elsewhere.

CU is hosting Hall for a visit this weekend.Hall earned all-area, district and conference as a junior after accounting for nearly 1,600-yards of offense and 13 touchdowns.
Wow. We are doing some serious reaching. But I guess that's the position we are in.
With measurables like his it doesn't seem like much of a reach. Only thing is he seems a bit slow for a RB but I am sure blacken can fix that. Kid is probably in the same boat as our prep QB was. Just no love with the scouting sites
Sometimes you have to call it what it is. The staff is reaching for some players.
Also keep in mind that a visit does not necessarily mean they will be offered. When Hawkins used to do this, it bugged me. But with the sheer number of official visits available to the staff, they can afford to use some of them in this fashion.
I know that we are scraping the barrel in terms of what is out there but he looks pretty good on tape. He is quick. Doesnt avoid contact. And he is BIG. Maybe I am just too used to seeing speedy back there.
Leach: Do you want to fight a buffalo? I don't know, those buffalo are big. You know, buffalo are significantly bigger than elk. I grew up near Yellowstone so I've been near buffalo. Buffalo are huge. And then the other thing I've always gotten a kick out of: When you play Colorado, there's those buffalo dragging those six handler around. Those handlers aren't dragging the buffalo. The buffalo's dragging him.
Haha thanks and thanks. If we land him and Creer I see a very very potent backfield for the next few years. If EB likes them then so do I.
Giving the benefit of the doubt to EB at this point. I'm sure he's thoroughly evaluated the three RS frosh with an eyeball test, and a deep look into their eyes, not to mention a thorough review of tape on them from High School and Scout Team practices. He's had a thorough discussion with Hagan as well.
So we know EB is definitely looking to sign 1 RB and maybe more... We will see who gets offers and commits at some point.
This guy wouldn't be a 2-star guy from what I can tell if he wasn't off the radar due to grades. Isn't Oak Hill where all the hoops studs go to fix their academics?
Creer looks like he is the stud back that EB wants to get in here. A year to learn the playbook, and let Blacken work on him he could be a star for us.
More video. I think this may be from his sophomore year.
http://colorado.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1179404"I still haven't figured out why Rivals.com has Rashad as a two-star prospect because he is a four-star talent," [Oak Ridge Military Academy head coach Otis] Yelverton said. "I have been doing this long enough to know what a four or five-star recruit looks like. I have sent five kids to Cal, three to Oregon, one to Washington State, one to Arizona State, one to Penn State. I was Keenan Allen's high school coach. Rashad is a special talent."
