is he visiting us in next week?
Cali High's #25 player in California heading into his senior year. Here's some of what they said about him:
http://www.calihighsports.com/articles/54At 6’3 315 pounds Marcus Martin has the body of a full grown man. Martin has bone crushing power, often easily blowing defensive lineman off the line using just his arms. Martin gets good leverage for such a big guard showing good form and gets into his stance quickly off the snap.
Bleacher Report Los Angeles rated Martin as the #5 prospect from LA this year.
Here's some of it:
He's become somewhat of a hot commodity since a dominating performance at the NIKE camp in Los Angeles back in April.
Martin isn't as athletic as some of the other offensive line prospects in the 2011 class, which is one of the reasons he hasn't gotten as much national attention, but his strength and run blocking are really quite impressive.

Oops. Forgot the Colorado offer in his profile.
It's looking like Martin, a long-time USC commit, is shopping around. He's at Arizona this weekend.
AZ's BuffScoop reports that he will visit CU next weekend. AZ should have an interview with Martin in the next few days.
Apparently, Martin has gotten nervous that he'd be one of the casualties if USC doesn't win its appeal with the NCAA. He's looking for a more secure opportunity.
That is a monster of a man right there. Would be a great get.

I'm hoping for a huge U$C fallout if their recruits are denied schollies...
He will help the running game.
I'm a little worried about him in the altitude.
Looks like he played a little bit of D-line at Crenshaw...would be a great get for either side of the ball.
He's perfect for our new 1-5-5 defense!
Leach: Do you want to fight a buffalo? I don't know, those buffalo are big. You know, buffalo are significantly bigger than elk. I grew up near Yellowstone so I've been near buffalo. Buffalo are huge. And then the other thing I've always gotten a kick out of: When you play Colorado, there's those buffalo dragging those six handler around. Those handlers aren't dragging the buffalo. The buffalo's dragging him.
