It seems odd. Particularly if they're looking at the kid committed to ASU as well.
I think taking 3 in any class, especially this small of one would be odd. But one is a Juco with 2 years here. I don't see anything strange with taking the best 17 guys they can get. Especially if they think he's a possible big time player in the future.
