K.T. Tuumalo

Rivals: 3*
Scout: 2*
ESPN: 2*
Continuing the long-standing pipeline from Boulder to the Aloha State, Tuumalo committed to the new coaching in January after briefly being a Boise State commitment. He projects as an outside linebacker at the next level, but may eventually grow into a defensive end. It is possible he could see immediate playing time, but more than likely, Tuumalo will redshirt. Punahou is the same high school as current freshman offensive lineman Kaiwi Crabb and where the brother of linebackers coach Brian Cabral is an assistant coach. Tuumalo chose the Buffs over offers from Arizona, Arkansas, Oregon State, and others.

Parker joins the Buffs program after completing an interesting recruiting odyssey. He committed to Tennessee in August, was dropped by Tennessee in December, showcased his skills in the prestigious Army All-American Bowl in January, and then committed to the Buffs shortly before signing day. He projects as a defensive end at the next level and figures to see playing time early in his career. Parker joins _ other players from the Aloha State as part of the 2011 class and comes from the stalwart St. Louis program. Parker chose the Buffs over offers from Baylor, Oregon State, and others.

Scout rating: 2*; unranked WR

Kyle played in all three facets of the game for Florence High and was a stand out on Offense and Special Teams. He rushed for 13 TD's and caught 10 more while starring as a return man. At the next level he projects as a DB or slot receiver and return man. We'll likely red-shirt Kyle and see how he develops physically before figuring out exactly where to play him.
Malcolm Creer

Running Back
Pacific Charter High School
Pacific Palisades, CA
Rivals: 3*
Scout: 2*
ESPN: NR
Creer joins the Buffs after a big senior season that caught the attention of several schools, most notably Nebraska and Washington. Coming from a school that traditionally has not churned out top Division 1 talent, Creer initially projects as a RB at the college level, but may eventually find a home at defensive back. Ultimately, he could end up outperforming expectations more than any other prospect in the class. Creer visited CU late in the recruiting process and chose the Buffs over offers from smaller schools.
Stephan Nembot

Defensive End
Montclair Prep School
Van Nuys, CA
Rivals: 3*; #51 strongside defensive end
Scout: 3*; #70 offensive tackle
ESPN: 3*; #78 defensive tackle
Nembot joins the Buffs after a whirlwind finish to his recruitment. A longtime Washington State commit, Nembot switched his pledge to Washington before signing with CU on signing day. Originally from Cameroon, Nembot is a versatile athlete who has only been playing football for a couple seasons. He projects as a lineman on either side of the ball, but likely will start his career at CU as a defensive end. Sporting both football and basketball offers, Nembot ultimately chose football with the Buffs over most of the Pac-10.
Tyler McCulloch

Wide Receiver
Eldorado

Rivals: NR
Scout: 2*

McCulloch is probably the most unheralded and unknown recruit in the 2011 Buff recruiting class. Recent history points to that being a good sign, as players such as Will Jefferson and Terrel Smith are recent examples of unheralded players signed by CU after NSD that have ended up making significant impacts as true freshmen. McCulloch was a highly productive player in high school that dominated his conference, earning 1st Team All-State honors with 40 receptions for 570 yards and 9 touchdowns. Those milestones were achieved despite playing in only 5 1/2 games after lacerating his liver and spleen while getting sandwiched by two defenders as he made a catch. McCulloch returned from that injury and even played cornerback as he helped his team finish the season with a 9-3 record that included a win in the state playoffs. Colorado was his only scholarship offer, as both of the in-state programs only offered walk on opportunities, so McCulloch comes to CU with a bit of a chip on his shoulder.
