McDondle had a big junior year and is probably the top RB in the state for 2012. He led Columbine to an 8-0 start before they were taken out by Mullen last year. In the process, McDondle filled up the stat sheet:
2010 Stats
Yards: 1,583
Avg: 8.60
TDs: 25
He needs to be a bit faster and i am interested how he would do in a non columbine offense. What are the chances he gets an offer?
RB is the one position where I think we will compete at a national level for an elite guy. This guy won't get an offer if he's not elite. I haven't seen him or the film, but if he "needs to be a bit faster", then there are no chances of a CU offer.
He is game fast if that makes sense. His 40 times are not very impressive they are solid but are not above above average. He is more 5 foot 8 than 5 foot 10 but he is a lot of fun to watch trust me. I got to many Columbine football games. Maybe can fit as a prefered walk on, but he is getting a good look by the coaching staff.
Game fast makes plenty of sense, ask Jerry Rice. I dont know about a ship but he would be an asset in some way.
Any update on him? having another huge year
McDondle has been avoiding the recruiting sites and hasn't done any self-promotion. People rave about Coach Lowry at Columbine, though, and how he does a great job of reaching out to colleges. I think this is a case where we simply won't be getting much, if any, information.
Pretty sure they play @Fairview tonight in the playoffs if anyone want to go check him out. Go Knights!
Well I go to columbine and know both of the Mcdondles pretty well. It was kind of a stupid question to ask cause I pretty much know whats going on. Cameron will go the JUCO route I am sure. Bernard is one of the fastest kids I have ever seen. His speed is up there with speedy. But yes they are playing Fairview tonight I am just about to leave for it. Bernard could be a good possibility for the class of 14.

Good info, thx 1414
"Right now Alec Burks is using and abusing this Texas defense"
Looks like both brothers tore it up in the playoffs and led Columbine to a state title. Even if Cameron looks to be headed the juco route, seems odd that he's seemingly getting no interest from college programs. Does Columbine just have a really effective system? Is it a lack of top end speed?
