Thread: '12 CA QB Shane Dillon (Signed to COLORADO)

The more video I watch the more sold I become. Kid looks like he could be the guy in a year or 2. His release is quick, he is accurate for the most part, and he can get it down the field. If the rumors are true that we are out in front in this, I would be extremely happy to have him in the BnG

    Cross your fingers.
The only problem with all this is that he seems in little rush to make a decision. We cannot afford to be left out in the QB sweepstakes and put all our resources toward Dillon.

Yep. Unfortunately, it looks like Dillon would like to put off his decision until October or so. http://colorado.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1214760

I am comparing this guy to Tebow in terms of development has a pocket passer, sad day to be a Denver Broncos fan. Dillon is miles ahead of Tebow in terms of footwork, accuracy, and maybe arm strenght.

And possibly be left out in the cold? That's a losing strategy.

The real question is if the Buffs get a commit from another QB do they close down the position to get the commit, keep the position open risking losing the commit in order to hopefully get a Dillon, or do they go with some other strategy.

I think that the Buffs are going to get a commit from at least one of the quality guys this year. Question is what happens if more than one guy is interested or they get a good guy before the guy they really would prefer is willing to commit.

The coaching staff has been very deliberate in offering QBs, only offering six thus far. I am pretty certain that they will take any guy ready to commit and that player will be the only QB we take in this class.

I have a very good feeling about his one, and he will commit early.
