Has anyone heard anything on this kid from Fairview?

Superior- I decided to go ahead and turn your thread into a profile. I'll link it in the pinned CO Prep Index. Thanks for the heads up on this kid.
Meyer ran a 11.25 in the 100m (referenced in the article Superior posted above), so he's got some wheels.
His 2010 football stats (MaxPreps):
Rushing- 90 carries for 703 yards (7.81 avg) with 12 TDs
Receiving- 5 receptions for 88 yards (17.6 avg) with 1 TD
He also punted for a 36.71 yard average. That points to a good all-around athlete. My concern is his size.

I am always suspect of sub 4.4 40 yard dash claims. Paired with a 11.25 100 m and I am more suspect....there just aren't that many guys who truly have that kind of speed unless they are being hand timed by a favorable timer (i.e. coach). Look at the combine numbers, ther are precious few who can run that kind of time.
I went to school with ben.
Very fast. Him Kenny Bell and two other kids had the second fastes 4X100 time in track. then on got hurt and they didnt get to compete at state.
I went to school with him too. kid was never late to class, sooo fast.
Possibly too small for D1 but he could have a growth spurt and walk on. Fast kid though.

I'm gonna bump this one up. DC had a story about Fairview today and featured Meyer. He broke his arm mid season last year and is back to full strength now. He's grown a bit since last year and his dad is a 6 foot plus Aussie with some girth. This kid is Jeremy Bloom fast. One to keep an eye on.
8 carries, 82 yards, 3 TDs last night in a Fairview win.
Maybe a good PWO candidate. How are his hands? Could he be a slot reciever/returner for us? Even if he has bulked up substantially from the 155 he will still not be stout enough to be a BCS level RB.
If he wants to play at the top level walking on to the Buffs could be a good option. Lives close enough to not have to pay for dorms, etc.
I have a feeling that if he walks on anywhere it will be BYU.
