CU is the first offer for Kafovalu.
He was All-CIF Central as an OL and the AIGA Foundation (Pacific Islander football blog) named Kafovalu Honorable Mention Inland Elite for 2010 at DL.
Be nice if we could get a photo.
Samson showed well at this weekend's LA Nike Camp:
http://colorado.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1207724Other defensive linemen that performed well included Riverside (Calif.) Arlington's Samson Kafovalu
His brother, David, is a lineman at Oregon. I would assume they might have the inside track if they offer.
Another guy our staff was the first to offer before several other schools jumped in. A potential third DT in this class?
He definitely looks like a DT to me. Him and Teddy Queen are future DTs imo.
I love to see our staff being the first one in way before all of these others schools. Maybe it doesn't always matter in the end, but for others it seems to cause us to stick out. Kyle Kelley comes to mind on that one.
Samson is a beast.jpg This kid is no joke!!! He's a BEAST! "Samson the Bull..."
He was also "Defensive Lineman of the Year 2010" per highlight.
Per Scout, he was dominant at the recent UCLA camp.

I would like to add that this kid is very humble, very talented, and very appreciative of the offers from all schools. He is exceptionally appreciative of the Colorado offer and I know a visit will follow soon.... He has another brother playing defensive end, a sophomore in H.S.
Yes I do:) I actually take him to his combines/camps...very close:)
