Another huge DT. I'd love to see some film.
Review from the SportsRecruiters 2010 combine:
http://sportsrecruiters.com/index.ph...rising-seniorsEkpen Iduoze- Very good size, good attitude and character, solid lineman prospect, excelled in one on ones and positional drills, pretty good technique
Looks like NY/NJ have become our non west coast target.Ekpen Iduoze, a 6-foot-3, 310-pound DT recruit from Milford Academy, a prep school in N.Y., has high interest in #Buffs:bit.ly/r7wW5N
Looks like a beast. Want.
Everybody's got plans... until they get hit. - Mike Tyson
I'm hoping we are full by the time he is ready to visit (November). Nothing aginst him as a prospect, but I am hoping we get a couple DTs to pop in September/October on official visits.
I think CU fans have largely forgotten that recruiting is a numbers game. He has said he would like to visit in November, which is getting late in the game. If he gives indication that he will commit on the official visit, that changes things. But if he is going to wait out the process a bit, time for us to turn up the heat on other targets. We are not talking about Ellis McCarthy here.

He says that he can play a 3 technique or a 1 technique, but he was a 3-4 NT in high school. That seems to be his preferred position. I still feel like that's the direction we're going.
I agree with BB on this one. Hopefully we get Solis committed first. If the coaches want to load up on DLs in this class then, I won't complain. It's just hard to do much of an evaluation on Iduoze without seeing film, but I love his size and don't think our coaching staff would be offering someone from PA/NY this far under the radar unless they'd gotten a good tip on him.
Nobody knows this kid except Milford Academy's head coach Bill Chaplick (yet).
Bill Chaplick played OL for Ansonia HS (Ansonia, CT) and later at Boston College.
Steve Marshall played OL at Rockville HS (Vernon,CT) and later at Louisville.
....at the same time, when my brother was playing for Middletown Xavier.
I don't think CU is done looking for big strong DL.

It's pretty hard to have to many quality interior D-linemen. If he is interested I wouldn't mind adding him to the class.
Yes.
Leach: Do you want to fight a buffalo? I don't know, those buffalo are big. You know, buffalo are significantly bigger than elk. I grew up near Yellowstone so I've been near buffalo. Buffalo are huge. And then the other thing I've always gotten a kick out of: When you play Colorado, there's those buffalo dragging those six handler around. Those handlers aren't dragging the buffalo. The buffalo's dragging him.
Does this kid still visit? If so, is there room in this class?
