That's a great AAU team he's on. Interesting point guard. Definitely could break some ankles in the half court and get the fast break going with his quicks. Better jumper than I expected to see. Got a little Isiah in him.
He looks like he is 12
seems like an interesting prospect but don't know how he would fit in our system. He is a very traditional point guard and not much of the slasher guards that Boyle seems to like. His outside shot looks good and he has fantastic ball skills so I'm sure he can help a lot of teams out there but we may have to modify our offense a bit to have him fit with us.
I always think that's good when a prospect looks young in his photos. Means he's still developing.
As far as the suggestion that he doesn't fit our system, I disagree. I think that last year Boyle had to fit his system to not having a true point guard due to Nate being hurt so much and Shannon never being more than about 80% on that knee.
Ratings are skyrocketing and his recruiting is taking off. Very highly sought after prospect.
Committed to UCLA.
Not that it does us any good, but he's another high riser on ESPN. Now the #10 PG and in their top 100. Bumped up from a 3* to a 4* as well.
Rivals took him from #81 overall to #53.
Seems like a good situation at UCLA. Should be interesting to hear the story on why.
