So my family has quite a few friends who donate pretty large chunks of money to BU. My dad was telling me two of these people told him that BU is willing to accept half the amount of money that gets worked out in the PAC# if they take us instead of TT. It sounds like UT is on board with it and will try to block TT. Sounds pretty crazy but these sources go all the way back to the last round of expansion (not last year, the SWC days). That's kind of embarassing but thats still more money than we would make in a non AQ conference....

I wasn't trying to be obtuse. I could have used bureaucratic, but sleazy seemed to make it redundant. I'm usually reduced to blatant vituperation when it concerns Texas' egotism and, what I preceive as, complicity.
