GT sucks, and is giving them an @$$ beating.
Typical Clemson. Tons of talent but can't find its way to real success. GT's a bad matchup for them because that offense requires Clemson to be assignment disciplined. I have no explanation for Clemson's offense being anemic today, though. I thought they'd outscore them.

Don't think anyone who knows Clemson is remotely surprised. GT has exactly the recipe for success against them - dominate time of possession. Clemson's D has been highly suspect all year

Correct, GT does not suck by any means. This game doesn't surprise me much coming from Clemson. The bigger surprise is that they made it this far without dropping a game they should've won. Don't forget, although they've played a number of pretty good teams all those games have been at home with the exception of the VT game. Also, they had to scramble to pull one out against a pretty bad Maryland team 2 weeks ago.
GT doesn't suck, but they're not great by any means either. Coming off back to back losses to UVA and 4-4 Miami.
Vanilla at best, the ACC is weak - bigtime.

Those are 3 of their seven wins - give me a break.
Va Tech is the only other rated team in the Top 25. They squeaked by Duke 14 - 10.

GT has the #1 ranked pass D in the ACC... if what i heard on the radio on the way home tonight was correct. no idea where they are nationally. however, i would consider that a possibility as to the reason we saw the outcome we did. i thought the same as you.
not one single bit. this is clempson. i feel bad for these guys. i do. i like the program and i really want to get to a game there one day. but, this kind of loss is just systemic in thier program. GT is a good ball club. dont doubt that. but, if clempson wants to be a top 10 team... they cant lose this game!!! they lost it.

I wish the buffs were as good as Clemson and got exposed. Instead we just are bad.
They are a damn good team. Not the best, but damn good. Nothing wrong with that.
