That doesn't bode well for any future quarter of a billion dollar stadium and practice facilities initiative.
Everyone repeat after me...the athletic department is self-funding and does not utilize tuition or taxpayer proceeds.
Colorado football is not a matter of life and death; it's more important than that.

Buffalo are huge. And then the other thing I've always gotten a kick out of: When you play Colorado, there's those buffalo dragging those six handler around. Those handlers aren't dragging the buffalo. The buffalo's dragging him.

You guys don't even want to know what us out-of state types pay to go here. If I hadn't become an in-state resident half-way through my career, I'd have had to transfer out. CU is still a bargain. You get what you pay for: a world-class education.
I only wish the state government would give a **** about higher education and actually fund it properly...
