You are going to a school that is part of a conference with very prestigious academic schools.
The problem is that FAFSA will not give you that much money until you no longer have to include your parents' income information at like 23 years old. I took time off from school for three semesters and as a result, I only have to pay back $40k total. If you can find a job somewhere to work until you are the age that FAFSA no longer requires your parents' income information, I think that would be a very good idea or even go part time until you can get more funding at that age.

And for any future students, doesn't CU accept students that have completed their AA's at a community college or junior college within the state? Nothing is wrong with going that route...even Cal does offer that oppournity.
I hate to be blunt but swallowing your pride by moving back home and going to a community college to get that AA degree and then focusing only on the degree classes that you need over two years isn't such a bad thing. Those general core requirement classes can be fullfilled at a community college and that would be just like $2,000 per year instead of that $8,000 at CU.
Your purpose in college is to get an education that will help you obtain a higher paying job that will be more stable over the long run compared to flipping burgers and delivering pizzas. You can still have fun in college without partying.
I'm on tapatalk right now, so I can't look, but if nashbuff voted on where ruggedvision is going next year, I am scratching that vote and scratching his choice completely. The other people who voted for that choice can reassign their vote elsewhere.
