Not sure how many of you have seen this, but it gives me chills every time I see it, absolutely one of the most intimidating things I've seen at the college level.
I've been talking a little bit with those close to the program and trying to make some waves on this... would you guys be in favor of doing something similar to this and changing the words to the following...
"You are Now at Altitude"... Ideally we'd do it again just prior to the 2nd half and change it to "You are STILL at Altitude"... Thoughts?

I think one of the key things we are missing is 2 or 3 individuals who are either on the court in front of the section or down in the front row to start cheers like this. At SDSU they have 1 or 2 guys down there to lead it. Its a matter of getting the student section aware of whats going on, thats the hardest part.
Unfortunately our "Cheerleaders" kinda suck in the department of leading cheers.
Who started the I believe chant? It seems like a lot of schools do it now.
I would have to hear it done by the student section to see how it would sound. I do like the idea of getting a recognizable, uniquely Colorado, cheer started. All the big programs have something. We are on our way there, its time we make a mark of some kind.
Like the idea but it seems a little clunky. How bout shorten it to "YOU'RE AT......ALTITUDE!" "YOU'RE AT....ALTITUDE!"
Said Deehan: "I've got to say the biggest difference is Malcolm in the weight room. . . we're a lot stronger where we need to be. We're no longer just big, fat power-lifters."
these sound like it would require the rest of the arena to respond, right? The student section needs something. Thats a recognizable part of the CUnit
I would like to use the winning team losing team cheer too. That's always fun.
GO NAVY! BEAT ARMY!

That reminded me of this. It may be in the Youtube thread; CRAZY!

TZISKIN, so far the few band members I have spoken with like the idea, if it can be coordinated. In order to do it though, you are going to have coordinate with the headset crew there in the arena, and marketing. We are told to play pretty much up until tip off by the people in charge. Change it with them so they can relay the info to our director and we would be glad to be a part of it. (We are pretty good at being loud, and coordinated)
Imagine how CSU fans would act if they suddenly made a good coaching hire, found a once in a lifetime quarterback (who fights dogs on the side and whose ), became a top 25 program, and joined a BCS conference. Those are Hokies for you. That said, it's a nice thing they have going at this zenith of their football existence, and Lane does get loud.
