Well if Jacobs or Solomon commits... We'd have 28. GS for McCartney, Peyton Williams and maybe another or someone doesn't qualify.
This is probably available somewhere on the board, but I can't find it. With the Powell commit, are we left without any scholarships available? Are we full, or are we still looking at adding some guys?

Just stay out of my way... or you'll pay! LISTEN to what I say!
If Jacobs wants to be a Buff, there is definitely room.

I'm a little surprised by the lack of turnover on the roster after the season. The staff ran off a few guys in fall practice, and there have been a couple of academic casualties this month, but I honestly thought that we'd see a mini-exodus of Juniors and Sophomores who either 1) realized this wasn't the picnic Hawkins promised them anymore, or 2) saw the writing on the wall with all the playing time Embree's freshmen got.
i'd expect a couple of the recruits might not make it thru admissions (despite what everyone says now) and after Spring ball a few others already on the team may leave so the numbers will probably work themselves out. if not, embree has some tough decisions to make.
Alabama says we have several more left.
According to latest Ringo article. We're done.

By my count we have 26 commits. Something has to give. I guess McCartney is the GS, and the 26 accounts for Wood and Norgard as EE's or Transfers. I don't know how you get anymore commits without expecting some grade casualties or asking kids to GS.....
So early enrollers count toward the 28 max you can sign in a year? If so, that's stupid.

Seems like there is some misinformation here and I am no expert but I am pretty sure that early enrollees count against last year's class and GS I believe can be current or next year's as determined by the school. But I also believe you can sign a maximum of 28 in any specific class and I believe with Powell (not including McCartney or Norgard) we are now at 28.
If that is true, than we we can not announce anymore signees unless we convince someone else to GS or someone is ineligible. Not sure what that means about a potential commit from Jacobs and makes it look even more certain that Solomon is not in this class unless he and the staff are considering him for GS.
