While I have not been there I think the explanation lies with its location in Watts. To quote my friend who went there "I have never been in a place where it is more obvious that the only role the police serve is to protect the rich from the poor." He made it seem like he could do just about anything he wanted so long as he was a college student.

Usually a bad sign when a middle aged, donut eating copper can run down your starting QB.

I wonder if lying to the police about a motorcycle accident counts as a crime?

This is pretty funny, I guess they'll let anybody in:

"Coaches being enshrined into the Hall of Fame include Phillip Fulmer of Tennessee, Jimmy Johnson of Oklahoma State and Miami and R.C. Slocum of Texas A&M."
We thought about it for a long time, "Endeavor to persevere." And when we had thought about it long enough, we declared war on the Union. - Lone Watie, The Outlaw Josey Wales

So, you're saying that the CF HOF just scored 3 points for Fulmer Cup standings?
We should have listened to Colorado fans.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Tennessee has suspended sophomore tight end Cameron Clear indefinitely following his arrest on a felony theft charge.
Jimmy Stanton, Tennessee's associate athletic director for communications, announced the suspension Wednesday and said university officials are continuing to gather information.
