Highlights of El Toro's CIF Championship run (featuring Manning):
El Toro quarterback Conner Manning, The Register’s 2011 offensive player of the year, is starting to get some attention from college recruiters.
The 6-2, 180-pound junior is receiving interest from USC, Missouri, Colorado, Stanford and Northern Arizona, Chargers coach Rob Frith confirmed.
Manning, who broke the county’s single-season passing yards (4,219) and touchdown (41) records, and sophomore wide receiver Dominic Collins were invited by Ed Orgeron to USC’s underclassmen day on Feb. 12.
Frith said junior Cody White, an All-County wide receiver, is drawing interest from Colorado.

Don't care what the recruiting sites say (or don't say). Given the success he's had in HS and at camps, if Rip thinks he's our guy I'm very cool with it.

” I have been talking to Wisconsin a lot and that’s going really well,” he said. “I’ve been talking to Colorado but I’ve been getting a lot more letters lately. Hopefully, it starts heating up. I know a lot of the schools are coming out in the spring.”
Manning said Wisconsin, Colorado, Hawaii, Oregon State and USC have indicated they will visit him this spring. “I think that’s where it’s going to start heating up,” he said.
Everybody hates you, Everybody wishes that you were dead
Cuz Peter you suck, Peter you suck
Peter your music is ****ing terrible
Peter you suck, Peter you suck
Peter you don't do anything of value, Peter you suck
Write some music but instead you sit and write these bulls**t songs
It's so self loathing go see a psychiatrist
I hate the psychiatrist
Well go see one anyway
I don't like the psychiatrist
You need to go see one
See a psychiatrist
I'm not going
3. Will FBS programs take Conner Manning seriously?
You'd think breaking Matt Barkley's single-season record for passing yards (4,219) would be worth at least one scholarship. Or the county record for touchdown passes (41). He even has the golden last name: Manning. Yet here we are in mid April and the 6-2, 195-pound quarterback from El Toro is still awaiting his first offer. The stall can be attributed to Manning essentially coming out of nowhere last year and doing it at one of the region's less-celebrated schools. He called his recruitment of late to be fairly quiet. But that should change soon as he recently took MVP honors at a recent Nike camp and is vying for a spot on the Elite 11. A number of big schools are supposedly planning to scout him in the coming months, as he's been deemed to have Pac-12 potential. It seems inevitable that schools will begin to pull the trigger.

I like the continuity. I'm bad with names.
Utah has offered. I wonder if it's committable or if they still have some other targets.
...bet he wishes Keyshawn Johnson was still at El Toro...
