Rumors about Nebraska going after Oregon's Dana Altman (Nebraska native, ex-Creighton coach)
I bet Nebraska makes a run at CSU's Tim Miles.
Only Irish coffee provides in a single glass all four essential food groups: alcohol, caffeine, sugar and fat. - Alex Levine
Yeah - Altman won't go back to Nebraska from Oregon - that would be nuts
"Right now Alec Burks is using and abusing this Texas defense"
Think I started that rumor about Miles
With Miles being a native of South Dakota and having gone to school + coached in the Dakotas and Colorado, it would seem like a good regional option for Nebraska.
Nebraska is going to be much more appealing than usual with this hire with their 16,000 seat arena on the way
I heard Illinois is interested in VCU's Shaka Smart.
Miles will hold out a couple years for the Minnesota job to come open before he seriously considers leaving CSU.

Old news but for anyone who didn't hear SMU hired Larry Brown (ya that Larry Brown). They also hired Illinois State coach Tim Jankovich to be their coach in waiting and made him the highest paid assistant in college basketball. Looks like they're serious about competing in the Big East.
