Luckily I have a bunch of friends driving down there so I'll have access to a car.

Bring plenty of extra balls. If you whiff on your drive your balls will be lost in shrub. It's about 80-100 yards from the tee to the fairway. Wonderful course though, but expect a lot of cursing, haha.

Hey NMbuff would you strongly advise against staying in the motel 6 Albuquerque South-Airport? We're broke students so we don't really care about sleeping conditions and its less than a mile away from the stadium. I guess we just care about cheapness, proximity and there being any semblance of a nightlife near by...

You are not taking your life into your hands there but there is no nightlife around either. I wouldn't walk on the other side of the interstate from the motel.

Not sure how much you are paying there but I'd try the Plaza bit further up the freeway instead. It's near the Embassy Suites where the C-Unit is staying and a bit nicer location. It's further from the stadium, however.

It's a pretty sketchy area. Not too bad, but not great either. I know someone would ask about that motel is always super cheap (I've seen $39/night). The Plaza Inn is nice and within walking distance, if not a bit far from downtown as well. Don't leave your valuables in your car and it'd be about $10 to/from downtown.

Then there's the places off of Central and (around) 1st. Really busy area so if you want some shuteye then it may not be your best bet and it's pretty damn sketchy (but near some really nice stuff), but it's near downtown Albuquerque. There's also the hotel blue (off of a google search) that's near downtown as well, but on the other side.

As far as driving and parking it's not that bad here. You could find a place to park on the east side and walk 10-15min to the pitt for free.

Went to Anodyne last night. Its got like 10 full sized pool tables and real cheap drinks. Overall great vibe I would definitely say you should check it out if you're down town. Thanks for the heads up
