Ernie Kent was a decent recruiter although a lot of that may have been due to his assistant Payne. His one problem though is he is an awful X's/O's coach and struggles with in game adjustments. I imagine he will struggle at a school like CSU so for you guys thats a good thing.

The best word to describe Kent's teams over the years is probably "inconsistent". For the couple solid seasons he had at Oregon in '01/'02 and '06/'07, there are many more that are just downright bad, and '08/'09 qualifies as "horrendous". It's worth noting that he only managed to finish above .500 in the Pac10 4 times in 13 seasons. He obviously had far more to work with in Eugene than he will in Ft. Collins. However, he is walking in to a pretty decent situation for next year in which CSU returns so much. After that he faces a daunting task as the Rams lose just about everyone. Is Kent going to be able to bring in the talent to keep the momentum going after next season? Highly doubt it. The best bet on his tenure is he enjoys a pretty nice first season thanks to all the Miles leftovers, then things fall apart starting with a brutal '13/'14 season and he is subsequently out the door after 4 seasons.

Wow I would love to beat the **** out of an Ernie Kent team in Boulder next year he was such a douche in the Pac 12 tourney. Blatantly rooted against us in the Oregon game.

Clearly that picture was taken before the massive upgrades they made by planting shrubs. Or their tailgate spot sucks and you just can't see the 11 shrubs that were planted.
ernie kent. yawn. the UO guys i know wanted him gone long before they actually canned him. of course there were 100% sure they'd get Mark Few, too. hah.
