As it pertains to the recruiting process and his likely position at the college level, Brown offered his preference.
“Colorado…they’re recruiting me as a rover…like a hybrid linebacker/safety type. I like the position. That’s what I could see myself playing.”
Adam reporting serious interest here:
"Long Beach (Calif.) Poly's Jayon Brown is strongly considering #Buffs' offer to play as a versatile LB at CU: http://t.co/FsZ6cyVb #CUBuffs"
It'd be nice to get into Poly and start to get into the mix on these kids. It sounds like we may have a better shot with Brown than most of the Poly kids the last couple of cycles.
He says on Buffscoop he's getting close to committing to CU. Go Buffs!!

The Buffs are hosting a camp next Saturday, July 28th, in conjunction with the University of San Diego and on the USD campus. Brown will be attending. "I could commit while at the camp. There is a good chance that will happen."
More speculation that Brown will commit this Saturday: http://colorado.scout.com/2/1205274.html
"I went to some (camps this summer), but after this Colorado camp I'm done," he said.
He might be done with the recruiting process, too.
I believe his camp performance will be important here
If we accept his commitment how many spots does that leave open? It sounds to me like between 1 and 4. Is that right?
Committed to UCLA.
Oh well. Come on palma!
