I think Fulmers record was pretty legit 152-52
This is almost as big of a joke as the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame.
http://espn.go.com/blog/ncfnation/tag/_/name/2012-hofJohnson, who led Miami to the 1987 national championship, will be joined in this class by two other coaches, Phillip Fulmer of Tennessee (1993-2008) and R.C. Slocum of Texas A&M (1989-2002). Johnson went 81-34-3 in 10 seasons at the U (1984-88) and Oklahoma State (1979-83). He said several times Tuesday that the most fun he had in his life came at Miami, when his Hurricanes lost a total of two regular-season games in four seasons.

2 SEC titles. 1 MNC. Won his division 6 times and was 98–34 in the SEC. I'm not saying that he deserves to be in the Hall or not, but damn those are impressive. In the end though Tennessee's lack of in-state recruits and the rise of recruiting by other teams was his downfall.
So, I'm assuming you believe Coach McCartney is completely unworthy of HoF consideration as well?
Funny, they called Leia "Princess" but it was Han who wore the ****-me boots.
Fulmer was a good coach, Slocum ehh not so much IMO
Plus look how mediocre Tennessee has been since Fulmer left.
Tom Osborne got his ass kicked by Oklahoma, Miami, Florida state and to some extent Colorado for many years.
