On the radio, Reed Marks is reporting Butch has met only with the senior captains on the team.
@CUBoulder: No deal w/a new football HC has been reached. We are still in active hiring process. We have nothing to confirm at this time.

Random Respected Internet Poster CJB at Rivals has this as the story of yesterday, and it includes some new info:
http://colorado.rivals.com/showmsg.a...id=894&style=2I heard that Butch Jones met with his wife, three kids and four senior's of the team early yesterday morning before he left for Charlotte to conduct the Belk Bowl press conference.
He did not tell the seniors he was leaving, but wanted to discuss the situation with them and how it would affect the team. The players then left and after he informed his family he was taking the Colorado job. CU did not know at the time.
He then told CU yesterday afternoon that he was accepting the offer and would be the next HC at CU. Someone then leaked the story to the DP who published the lead.
Jones was extremely disappointed with the leaking. He wanted to be the one to tell the players before they heard it anywhere else. This was very important to him.
So if Jones does not announce today he is accepting the CU job, he changed his mind last night after the leak.

@Reedmarks also says that Butch has not yet told Cincy he is staying... expects more flirting with Tennessee.

The CU AD has gone silent - only activity has been from David Plati going off on Joel Klatt on twitter. No word from anyone on anything right now. It would make sense for the next hiring attempt to be silent until it is done. However, we will keep updating this as information comes out.
