CU lost the commitment of Garth Gerhardt (Heisman finalist Toby's brother) to Arizona State the day before Signing Day. CU signed Maiava as an 11th hour replacement at Center. Maiava went on to start as a true freshman and was named to some Freshman All-America teams as a Center. After the 2007 season, CU coaches asked Maiava to switch positions to Fullback where he ended up 3rd on the depth chart in the spring of 2008. At the end of the spring '08 semester, Maiava decided to transfer. He landed at UCLA, where he started at Center in 2009 after sitting out 2008 due to NCAA transfer rules.

Once they're posted, I think the Archive Profiles are probably going to be used most as a reference when someone wants to look back on a guy. But they're not locked for a reason. I've got no problem with posts/discussion. Everyone needs to remember, though, that it's still the Recruiting Forum and we've got much tighter rules on how much bashing we're going to allow in here.
