This is an odd one, as Kurt Davis has committed in Basketball to San Jose State. However, he showed up at the CU/Missouri game on an official football visit. Confirmed by both Rivals and Scout publishers.

His high school coach was quoted thus:
\"I mean, Kurt is another basketball guy who is an outstanding athlete and a good vertical,\" Scott said. \"He's on our basketball team and has scholarship on the table from San Jose State for his skills in hoops, but he wants to play football.\"

This guys was loving the ladies at the game....we had about 10 cute ladies with personalized signs for every recruit...and this guy was really loving that.

He was getting pictures of the sign & ladies at the game....maybe some old school Barnett recruiting will help out :smile2:

Other schools looking at Davis are Oregon and Arizona.

Had previously given San Jose State a verbal for basketball. Maybe he could also help Coach Bzdelik as a walk on.

He looks freaking huge. Doesn't look overly quick, probably more long speed than short speed. Definitely has a load of potential if he can work on his in the air ball skills.

We're in great shape for Davis.

Rivals has finally evaluated and put him in as a 3*; #98 WR
Scout has evaluated, too, and put him as a 3*; #83 WR.
 
ESPN reports that Davis has committed to UNLV.

Rivals recently reported that CU had stopped recruiting Davis and his teammates as soon as Kevin Smith committed to Washington.
