Re: '10 CO WR Armoni Brewington

Brewington has offers from Minnesota and CSU, but Colorado and Cal are his Top 2.

Hawk's talking to him regularly and he's got an open invite to come to the CU games, according to a recent Rivals article.

Through 6 games this year, his stats are sick. 47 receptions for 638 yards and 6 tds.

I know a couple guys watched Bear Creek's game with Columbine last week to check out Spond. Did Brewington stand out on his 4 catches?

I watched bits and pieces of the game on TV, but I don't remember Brewington. I do remember Lockett, the BC running back. He looked like a very good athlete, every bit as athletic as Spond, but smaller- maybe 200 lbs. I couldn't even find Lockett in the rivals db, though.

Re: '10 CO WR Armoni Brewington

+1. Lockett was sick. I DVR'd it to watch Spond who is big and athletic. But Lockett had great instincts and speed at RB, and looked (on TV) to be of decent size also. He'll play somewhere.

I tried to watch Brewington, but all you saw was him catching the ball. He looks to have a decent combo of size and quicks but there was nothing jaw dropping in that game.

Lockett stole the show. BTW, Bear Creek's little QB is not a D1 player, but a very nice players as well. Looked like he was the coaches kid. Nice job in that game.

Re: '10 CO WR Armoni Brewington

Zach Thennel (BC's QB) is the head coach's (Tom Thennel) kid. Coach Thennel has shown that's he's really a good coach over the years. He's done some great things with QBs too (Rahne played well at Colgate I think, Holland was a prick but was a national HS recruit, and Thennel will play at least DII somewhere).

I'm a former BC grad, and I'd love to see another Bear make the CU squad. I think Shane Cook was the last one to play for the Buffs (there was a walk-on Geoff Whittaker that never saw the field though). However, I haven't heard too much noise about Brewington.

Re: '10 CO WR Armoni Brewington

Brewington's senior year stats:

78 receptions, 1095 yards, 14 touchdowns

The only positions we should take if any is DT or db period. We have zero dt's, everyone else has at least 1, this isn't brain surgery.
