Re: '10 JUCO DT Bobby Agoucha

Originally a Texas Tech recruit in 2007, then 2 years at Eastern Arizona JC, so he's likely got 2 years left to play 2. Should be in pretty good shape academically, considering he originally cleared the NCAA to get into Texas Tech.

Colorado scholarship offer was just reported this week. Other offers for Agoucha are from Arkansas and Kansas State. Baylor's also looking.

If you do a search, he's sometimes under "Bobbie". Also, that photo was from high school. Based on his profile, he's actually lost about 15 lbs since he reported to Texas Tech (he was at 328 his freshman year).

Agoucha is a fiery guy: Link

Unhappy ending for Monsters

Saturday night brought no precipitation in Thatcher, but disappointment reigned.

Eastern Arizona College, which had a chance to grab a bowl bid with a win, lost 27-21 to the Phoenix College Bears.

With a very thin backfield, the Monsters had trouble holding on to the ball.

EAC (8-3) fumbled the ball five times and threw an interception. Phoenix (4-6) had just one turnover.

Not only were the Monsters minus five in the turnover category, but they committed 13 penalties for 100 yards.

Frustration boiled over for defensive lineman Bobby Agoucha in the third quarter, and he was ejected from the game.

Agoucha tossed his helmet and was making his way toward the Phoenix sideline when EAC head coach John O’Mera restrained him and walked him off the field.

We need some of that at CU right now. Not being a hothead, but that level of passion. As I've written before, give me the fiery players because it's much easier to put a bit in the mouth than a boot in the ass.

Re: '10 JUCO DT Bobby Agoucha

I just hope we get a few breaks for once and get some dt's and ends in. It is an absolute must imho. Id be happy with 3 dt's and 3 ends.

Re: '10 JUCO DT Bobby Agoucha

CU backed off upon learning he was a May graduate. After the Andre Simmons saga and past difficulties getting JUCO transfers into CU, I actually think it would be a great policy to only accept fuul qualifier December graduates that can enroll for spring and get acclimated / learn the playbook during the spring and summer.

Looking like Baylor for him.

Aguoucha committed to UTEP.

Good fit for him, since it sounds like he no longer had the BCS offers on the table.
