He looks really good on tape. Excellent throwing mechanics. Great size. He may be a bit on the slow side (couldn't quite tell). Surprised he is not more sought after.

Not sure what this Rivals quote means. According to MaxPreps, he did not throw any passes as a freshman, and threw only four as a sophomore. Did not put up great stats as a junior (5 TD, 5 INT, 43% Comp.) I think he is a bit of an unknown at this point, but some big schools are sniffing around.

Steve Kaiser, a 6-foot-2, 215-pound quarterback from De Smet Jesuit (St. Louis, Mo.), has accepted a Class of 2010 offer from Southern Methodist.

Colorado State and Arkansas State had also recruited Kaiser.
